About RSL Art Unions

The RSL (Returned & Services League of Australia) has an active role in community affairs and determination to preserve the Australian way of life.

A major activity of the RSL is welfare services provision to ex-service men and women, to their dependants and to other members of the Community. Welfare includes pension and advocacy services, retirement and care facilities, home care and financial assistance to ex-servicemen and women including their dependants.

The RSL Art Union, a Queensland based lottery, was established In 1956 to raise funds to provide the essential services mentioned above.

The Art Union marketing strategy from the RSL is based on building new quality waterfront homes on the Queensland Gold Coast which is one of Australia's most sought after residential locations. A wide range of bonus prizes is also available.

The RSL Art Union has given away $80 million in prizes and has raised over $70 million for the development and maintenance of RSL nursing homes, hospitals and centres, as well as retirement complexes for the elderly.
